    Dinamo won first 5 Championships of modern Belarus in a row. After a two seasons break Dinamo became the winners of the Belarusian championship once again.

    The last time "Dinamo-Minsk" became the champions of the country was in 2004.

    Three times "Dinamo-Minsk" became the owners of the Belarus Cup.

    Twice - at the very beginning of the independent Belarusian football (1992 and 1993/1994 seasons), and the last time - in 2003.

    The BSSR Championship in the Soviet football was the competition among youth teams.

    And mainly reserve team of "Dinamo-Minsk" took part in the tournament.

    "Dinamo" 6 times became champions of the BSSR championship.

    Byelorussian SSR Cup tournament has been holding from 1936 to 1991. "Dinamo-Minsk" twice in its history became the owner of this cup: in the distant 1936 and 1940.

FLASHBACK: CHAMPIONSHIP 1982

During the international pause in the Belarus Championship 2022, we suggest recalling how Dinamo played in 1982 at this time.

On September 11 in Minsk, our team hosted the Moscow "Torpedo". After defeating this rival in the first half of the championship, Dinamo-Minsk topped the national championship standings.

On September 11, Dnamo played against Torpedo with the following line-up: Viarheenka, Barouski, Zyhmantovich, Yanusheuski, Trukhan, Prakapenka (Melnikau, 69), Hotsmanau, Pudyshau, Aleinikau, Hurynovich, Kandratsieu (Vasileuski, 57).

The first fifteen-twenty minutes of the match were rather calm, at an average pace. The teams tuned to the game. Then the hit from Aleinikau played like a signal for a series of attacks by the hosts. And on the 21th minute the attack launched by Pudyshau from a free kick was especially dangerous. Hurynovich took his head pass, but sent the ball to the post. Zyhmantovich managed to get to the rebounded ball before the goalkeeper, but shot past the goal from three meters. In other attacks the goalkeeper of "Torpedo" played impeccably.

The score was opened in the 65th minute after the central defender of Torpedo Zhupikov made a rapid raid from his own penalty area and shot on goal from a distance. Viarheenka was clearly not ready for such short and missed a not very difficult ball.

For the rest of the time, Minsk did not manage to change the score. The result of the match is 0:1 and the first defeat of Dinamo at home this season. Moreover, after this match, Dinamo moved from the first to the second line of the standings. Leadership has now passed to Dynamo from Tbilisi. With the same number of points, they had the best results in the matches against Dinamo-Minsk.

Journalists after the match wrote that this defeat and the previous draw - is burden of leadership and  psychological fatigue of the team. However, there was still time to correct the situation.
