FLASHBACK: CHAMPIONSHIP 1982

02.10.2022

On September 26, 1982, our team met with Shakhtar Donetsk on the road. The first match ended with the victory of Dinamo with a score of 3:0.

By the way, the match was supposed to take place a day earlier. But the Shakhtar managed to move it from Saturday to Sunday. Therefore, Diamo spent an extra day in Donetsk.

On September 26, Dinamo played with the following line-up: Viarheenka, Barouski, Kurnenin, Yanusheuski, Trukhan, Prakapenka (Zyhmantovich, 72), Hotsmanau, Pudyshau, Shyshkin (Rumbutsis, 46), Hurynovich, Kandratsieu.

Minsk played in the usual style: they attacked with a wide front. And the first dangerous moment belongs to Dinamo. Hotsmanau hit hard in the 5th minute, but the ball flew close to the post. Then there were another quite dangerous moments at the Shakhtar's goal. Prakapenka from close range just had to push ball to the net after the corner free-kick from Kurnenin, but he misses. Hurynovich also had a very advantageous position, and from about seven meters sent the ball wide of the target.

However, it was Shakhtar who took the lead a minute before the break. The ball from the corner was sent to the far corner of the penalty area. There, in the fight against Yanusheuski, Yurchanka returned the ball closer to the goal, and Piatrou scored a goal.

After the break, Dinamo continued to attack. Rumbutsis, having received an excellent pass, found himself face to face with the goalkeeper, but was knocked down by the defenders. The referee awarded a penalty. It was realized by Kandratsieu-1:1.

A draw was not enough for Shakhtar and they attacked again and again. Defenders of Dinamo increasingly began to break the rules. In this sense, Trukhan's mistake at the 75th minute was especially upsetting. A third free-kick in a row was awarded. Donetsk played a free kick without much imagination: Hrachou imitated a kick, Auchynnikau made a psychological attack on the "wall", and Sakalouski struck in target.

Dinamo desperately tried to equalize the result, but Shakhtar kept the victory. 2-1. The outsider defeated the leader. The first line of the championship remained with our team, but the nearest pursuers approached.

Also in the game, Ihar Hurynovich received a second yellow card for arguing with the referee and now had to miss at least one match. And the next match "Dinamo-Minsk" was against "Metalist" from Kharkiv.
