On October 27, 1982, a match with Dynamo from Kyiv took place in Minsk. It was a missed match of Round 5. In the first match this in Round 21 our team won with a score of 3:2. At the end of the season, Minsk secured the first line of the standings, however, Dynamo Kyiv also claimed medals. Therefore, the match was of great importance. It is not surprising that 50,000 spectators gathered at the Dinamo stadium in Minsk that day, despite the cool autumn weather.

Minsk team played with the following line-up: Viarheenka, Barouski, Kurnenin, Yanusheuski, Trukhan (Aleinikau, 43), Prakapenka, Hotsmanau (Melnikau, 87), Pudyshau, Zyhmantovich, Hurynovich, Kandratsieu.

The hosts almost immediately seized the initiative and led a fast attacking game. There were many dangerous moments at Kyiv goal. Hurinovich burst into the penalty area, passed the ball to Kandratsieu and it seemed that a goal was inevitable. But experienced defenders of the guests defended their goal. Three minutes later, Kyiv was aready in the penalty area of Minsk, and Viarheenka had to intervene. At the 36th minute, Pudyshay starts a combination, then suddenly moves with the ball to the base line, makes a cross along the goal, and Prakapenka sends the ball into the goal with an original technique.

1:0. After that, Minsk regrouped their forces in defense. Having strengthened its center, they pulled back Hotsmanau in defense, but his participation in the attacks did not stop. Aleinikau, who came on as a replacement, managed to be everywhere. The initiative in the game until the end of the first half remained with the home team.

At the beginning of the second half, the guests equalized. Minsk team broke the rules (hand touching the ball). A free-kick was awarded. It was performed by Buriak, Khlus rebounded and hit from nine meters. Viarheenka was powerless in this case. A draw did not suit any of the teams. Minsk have traditionally raised the pace. The guests pushed back. Hotsmanau, Aleinikau could succeed. There was a moment when Zyhmantovich lured the guests' goalkeeper out of the penalty area and made a pass. Kurnenin tried to perform "bicycle", and failed. But Yanushevski was closest to the goal, but his shot hit the crossbar. Then Prakapenka shot from 14 meters on goal, but, unfortunately, right into the hands of the goalkeeper. In this fragment of the game 6 times in a row Minsk took corners. However, the guests persevered.

The result of the match was 1:1, and everything remained unchanged in the standings.
