    Three times "Dinamo-Minsk" became the owners of the Belarus Cup.

    Byelorussian SSR Cup tournament has been holding from 1936 to 1991. "Dinamo-Minsk" twice in its history became the owner of this cup: in the distant 1936 and 1940.

Yury Ivanavich, we congratulate you on one of the most important victories in this championship. First emotions after the #GirlsDerby?

- Emotions are the most positive. Yes, we conceded a goal at the end of the first half, the defenders and the goalkeeper failed. But there is nothing wrong with that, I told the girls about it in the locker room during the break. We had to score, and we did it. In the second half, we completely owned the advantage, and in the end we also succeeded in converting our scoring opportunities. I want to say a huge thank to the whole team for this victory. I can also say that the girls who entered the game today after substitutions helped a lot.

In September, Salimata Simpore arrived in Minsk. She had played in our team two years ago. She showed herself as an excellent striker, were there any concerns because of this?

- It seems to me that any player who played for this or that team and then went out against it on the field in some tournament will prove and strive to show her best, especially such a player as Simpore. We assumed that she would use long passes, taking into account her physical qualities, and were basically ready for this.

Formally, in order to maintain leadership in the standings, a draw would have been enough for our girls today, but you probably set your team up only to win?

- You know, I always say in such cases: it's better to ask the girls. They know the correct answer.

In all three matches this season Minsk was the first to score. What do you think, was FC Minsk much better this year?

- I wouldn't say that. At the very beginning of the season, I said that we lost a fairly large group of players. At the same time, I said that we need time to roll into the new season. It took quite a lot time, actually. Girls with different levels came to Dinamo-BSUPC during the off-season. It takes months to level up the squad. Football is football. Yes, we conceded goals after unnecessary mistakes, but this is what the game consists of. Still I would say the opponent remained at the same level as before.

The season is not over yet, but if we try to briefly describe it for now, did Dinamo-BSUPC succeed in it?

- A very difficult season, quite exhausting. It's too early to sum up the results, but the year is quite difficult and it always happens when you rebuild the team.
