FLASHBACK: CHAMPIONSHIP 1982

13.11.2022

The last home match of Dinamo-Minsk in the 1982 season took place on November 8 against Tashkent Pakhtakor. Previous match between these opponents ended with the victory of Dinamo with a score of 3:0.

On November 8, Dinamo played with the following line-up: Viarheenka, Kurnenin, Barouski, Yanusheuski, Shyshkin (Zyhmantovich, 45), Pudyshau, Aleinikau, Hotsmanau, Hurynovich, Kandratsieu, Vasileuski. Trukhan received a yellow card in the previous match and was missing the match on November 8. Dinamo rebuilt its defensive line. Yanusheuski took a place in the center of defense and at the same time took control over Yakubik - the top scorer of the championship that season -, and Hotsmana was moved to the flank.

Dinamo tried their best to succeed as quickly as possible, but the ball stubbornly did not fly into the goal. Minsk very quickly approached the opponent's penalty area, but then either lost the ball or hit the goal weakly and inaccurately. The first extremely sharp moment at the goal of the guests arose in the 18th minute, when Hotsmanan served a free kick, but Pudyshau did not reach the ball. Tashkent counterattacks were rare, but no less dangerous. An acute situation was in one of the moments when the guests served the ball four times in a row from the corner mark. At the end of the first half Dinamo-Minsk utilized its lovely method - shot on goal from a distance. Approximately in the 41st minute of the match, Prakapenka made a good shot from a long distance, but the ball passed close to the post, and a minute after Hotsmanau's strongest blow the Pakhtakor goalkeeper hardly reflected the ball to a corner.

In the second half, Malafeeu replaced both attackers one by one. Instead of Hurynovich and Kandratsieu, Vasileuski and Shyshkin came out. But this didn't work either. Uzbek team  built a dense defensive barrier around the penalty area. Dinamo forwards didn't have a chance.

A goalless draw.

The situation in the standings after such a result could have changed, but the closest pursuer  - Kyiv Dinamo  - lost to Spartak. Now our players had to play two away matches - against Moscow "Dynamo" and "Spartak".
