17.11.2022

On November 16, 1982 Dinamo-Minsk played the one of the last matches of the USSR championship of that year against Moscow Dynamo.

The teams played on the synthetic field of the CSKA complex in Moscow. Dinamo-Minsk played the following line-up: Viarheenka, Barouski, Kurnenin, Yanusheuski, Zyhmantovich (Shyshkin, 65), Prakapenka, Hotsmanau, Pudyshau, Aleinikau, Sokal (Hurynovich, 46), Vasileuski.

Dinamo started the game quickly and immediately seized the initiative, causing a lot of trouble for the defense and the goalkeeper of the Moscow team. Thescore was opened already in the fifth minute. In the penalty area, Sokal, the forward of the reserve team, delivered an accurate shot on goal. Before the break, the ball entered the net twice more. On the 26th minute, Vasilevski scored and three minutes before the break, Prakapenka - the birthday boy that day - quickly broke through on the left side, beating several defenders at speed, lured goalkeeper Uvarau out of the goal and unexpectedly made an accurate pass to Hotsmanau, although he could have hit himself. Siarhei was alone in front of an empty net and easily scored - 3:0.

After the break, our team continued with the same spirit. In the 60th minute, Vasileuski scored again. Having beaten the defenders, he went one on one with the goalkeeper - 4:0. Soon Aleinikau completed the rapid attack of the Minsk team - 5:0. At the 81st minute, the Muscow defenders stopped Hurynovich  with a foul in the penalty area. The victim accurately scored the penalty free-kick. Having achieved such a serious and by that time already decisive advantage, Dinamo-Minsk continued to play the game in the same manner. When the time was almost up, the referee appointed another 11-meter free-kick to the goal of Dynamo Moscow. Vasileuski struck accurately - 7:0. For the first time in the history of the club for the entire time of participation in the national championships, Dynamo Moscow suffered such a crushing defeat.

As a result of this round, Dinamo-Minsk secured at least silver medals. The final match of the season was waiting for our team against Spartak, who also already knew their final position in the championship - third place. At the same time, one should not expect an easy match knowing the uncompromising fighting character of the Moscow team.
