KATSIARYNA ULASEVICH ABOUT THE UPCOMING CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

06.07.2022

Katsia, did you follow the first round draw this year? What are your thoughts?

- I didn't follow the draw, but I know the result and it's pretty good, I think. Interesting teams, I think that we have chances, which means we will do everything in our power to go further.

In general, how do you like the teams that are represented this year at the first stages of the league, are there many really strong opponents?

- This is the Women's Champions League, there can't be other teams here, even at the initial stage. All opponents are good, each has its own strengths, it will never be easy with anyone. But we do not expect easy games and are also ready to give battle to anyone.

The first match we have against the Bulgarian Lokomotiv, what can you say about the team? And do you know anything else about the teams that we also have in the group?

- To be honest, we don't have any information about Lokomotiv yet, as well as about the Bulgarian championship in general, but for sure in a few weeks we will start systematically studying this team and approaching the game.

Playing in Macedonia - is it a plus, a minus, or in principle, it doesn't really matter where to play?

- We don't care where we play, I'll be honest. It is not possible to hold matches in Belarus, so the host country is not important for us. On any field we can show what we are capable of.

What needs to be corrected / strengthened by the team for the remaining month and a half?

- There are certain moments, but this requires the work of the coaching staff, and we will do everything in our power to approach the Women's Champions League in optimal shape.
