    The BSSR Championship in the Soviet football was the competition among youth teams.

    And mainly reserve team of "Dinamo-Minsk" took part in the tournament.

    "Dinamo" 6 times became champions of the BSSR championship.

    Byelorussian SSR Cup tournament has been holding from 1936 to 1991. "Dinamo-Minsk" twice in its history became the owner of this cup: in the distant 1936 and 1940.

FLASHBACK: CHAMPIONSHIP 1982

While our team is preparing for the return match of the second qualifying round of the Conference League, we recall how Dinamo-Minsk played at the same time 40 years ago.

On July 17, Dinamo hosted Neftchi from Baku at the home arena. Our squad: Viarheenka, Barouski, Trukhan, Yanusheuski, Aleinikau, Prakapenka (Rumbutsis, 69), Hotsmanau, Pudyshau, Melnikau (Zyhmantovich, 39), Hurynovich, Kandratsieu.

Already in the first minutes of the match, Dinamo could score, first Hurynovich in a favorable situation could not pass the goalkeeper of Baku, and then Kandratsieu shot wide. Hotsmanau also missed the goal.

And only in the 12th minute Dinamo scored. Aleinikau made a long raid with the ball from his half of the field to the Neftchi penalty area, screwed three defenders and shot accurately.

Immediately Kandratsieu could increase the score, but hit the post. In response, the opponent used the tactics of counterattacks. And in one of the counterattacks the ball hit the crossbar. Three minutes later, Hurynovich also hit the crossbar. And three minutes later, Akhmedau equalized the score with an unexpected blow almost from 30 meters.

In response to this, Malafeeu replaces Melnikau by Zyhmantovich. And two minutes before the break, Zyhmantovich "twisted" a magnificent attack, which was completed by Pudyshau. After his punch the ball hit a defender of Neftchi and ad sneaked to the goal - 2:1.

In the second half, Dinamo continued to attack, but the ball did not fit the goal. Hurynovich hit the crossbar again. Kandratsieu could not beat the goalkeeper. Then the guests' goalkeeper saved another blow from Hurynovich, and then from Prakapenka.

Seven minutes before the final whistle, the Baku team's defender was forced to block the ball with his hand after Hurynovich's strike. A penalty was awarded. Usually the role of a penalty taker in Dinamo was Prakapenka. But by this time, Rumbutis already replaced him on the field. Much to the surprise of the spectators, Viarheenka came out to the ball. And set the final score.

The result of the match is 3:1. Dinamo takes the first line of the standings. And also scores its 900th goal in the Premier league.
