YURY MALEEU: COMMENTS

15.08.2022

Yury Malleu comments before Dinamo-BSUPC's departure for the first matches of the Women's Champions League.

Yury Ivanavich, the match with ABFF WU-19 was the final one before the girls' trip to the European Cup matches. Are you satisfied with the game and can we conclude that this starting lineup, we saw in this match  will also play from the first minutes against the Bulgarian Lokomotiv?

- All squad, which was on the football field and on the bench - will go to the upcoming two matches of the Champions League. As for the game against ABFF and the starting lineup... Initially, I really thought that these 11 players would start at the next match, but right now, I will not hide, I have some concerns about this. They are connected with the first half, with starting minutes, when questions arose about the quality and content of the game. I liked the degree of readiness of those girls who came on as a substitute even more than the players who started with the starting whistle.

We have a difficult road ahead, only on the August 16th the team will arrive in Macedonia, and the first training session of Dinamo-BSUPC will be held on August 17th. Can this greatly affect the physical and psychological conditions of the players?

- Only the game will show everything. Of course, we would like the trip to be shorter, but we got what we got. In general, nothing terrible has happened.

The match against Lokomotiv will take place at an unusually early time - at 11 am. If it's not a secret, why was such a time approved: climate or something else?

- You know, I can't say whether it's such unusual. Our team always has morning training, for us this time will not be a big novelty. I don’t know about the opponent, but I think we will be ready for this. I think it has to do with the climate, you're right, and most likely with the possibility of lighting the stadium that will host our match in Skopje.

After an injury, Nastassia Shuppo returned on Saturday, and the second match of the Women's League was held by Nastassia Shlapakova. Are you satisfied with the players?

- I am satisfied with two Nastas (smiles). The only thing that I said to Shuppo right after the match was that after the injury it would be better to play more simple. She started with difficult combinations, but it was possible to enter the game easier. But nevertheless, it the same Shuppo as before, so, I repeat, I am satisfied with the girls.

What is the plan for Dinamo-BSUPC for the coming days: will there be any tactical exercises or something else?

- No, on Sunday afternoon there was a recovery training, in the evening the departure. Only upon arrival we will have a theoretical lesson, we will explain to the team everything necessary about the opponent, especially since new players have been added to the team, one of which is a Ukrainian who used to play in Belarus. On Monday, we will still spend the night in Slovakia, and then we will arrive to Skopje, from the road into battle.
