YURY MALEEU: POST-MATCH COMMENTS

30.04.2022

Yury Ivanavich, tell us your impressions of today's game and how the team is holding the first part of the championship.

- Already at the beginning of the season I said that so many significant changes happened in the first team, and we will need time to stabilize the game that we had. Unfortunately, I can state that we have not stabilized the game in the way I would like. Still, we have matches when we play well and when we play not so well. Therefore, to be honest, I'm not particularly happy with how we are progressing. If you take today's game: it fits into the kaleidoscope of games that we had: the first half is bright, the second half after the substitutions is weakening of the game. Modern football is about the speed of work with the ball, the speed of decision-making. And we play about 90 percent of games with teams that defend quite deep, low and with a large number of players. We are good at opening such defenses, but as soon as we have substitutions, our scoring fuse disappears.

In recent matches, the new players of "Dinamo-BSUPC" - Tataryn, Sitnikava, Kuntsevich - got enough playing practice. How they fit into the team?

- I would like this process to happen faster. The girls have been with us since the beginning of the year, they must understand certain principles. Because teaching a team to play positional attack is the hardest thing in football. Somewhere they do not succeed, somewhere they lack skills. But I think it's acquisitive.

Vita Mikalaenka, Tatsiana Markusheuskaya, Alina Kharashchak were absent today - what happened to the girls?

- Markusheuskaya and Kharashchak were injured, and Mikalaenka had a temperature last night.

How do you evaluate the beginning of this championship in comparison with the previous year and the year before?

- 2020 - it was the most fierce fight between "Minsk" and "Dinamo-BSUPC". We had a significant advantage last year. This year, it seems to me, the average level of the championship is falling.

Ahead of us is "Dnepr-Mogilev", then "Zorka-BDU" - what is the preparation plan?

- We have a standard mode, I do not see any reason to deviate from the plan.
