Happy birthday, Veniyamin Arzamaztsau!
As part of our club, Veniyamin Arzamaztsau played for 7 years and during this time he took part in 228 matches, in which he scored 12 times. In his first season he played in all 38 matches, and the team won bronze medals in the USSR championship.
After completing his football career, Arzamaztsau first worked as an assistant of Eduard Malafeeu and, together with the team, won the championship of the Soviet Union in 1982. The next season, Veniyamin Arzamaztsau became the head coach of the "Blue-whites". It was under his leadership that the team made their debut in European cups, reached the quarterfinals of the European Champions Cup, and a year later again managed to break into the quarterfinals, but already in the UEFA Cup. Also in 1983, "Dinamo-Minsk" won bronze medals in the USSR championship.
